Congratulations to the team - champions of the U12 MVYSA Premier Division for fall 2012!
In addition to the league title, the team finished 3-0-1 and in a first-place tie without allowing a goal over four games in the season-opening Springfield of Dreams Charity Classic in August. In an exciting tiebreaker, Thunder won a 12-round shootout to claim the champions medals!
We also competed in the Ohio South President's Cup and the Beavercreek Soccer Association Haunted Classic during the fall season. Information about the spring 2013 season is coming soon!
Practice/Game Schedule
Practice schedules will be distributed via email each week. Please arrive a few minutes early to allow for a proper warm-up, and please make sure the boys have a size 4 ball and plenty of water to stay hydrated.
Previous Seasons
2011-12 Season (U11)
Congratulations to the 11 boys and their families who made up the team in 2011-12. The season as a whole was another tremendous success, including tournament championships in the Beavercreek Haunted Classic and the Fazoli's Festival of Soccer in Xenia and respectable finishes in the Springfield of Dreams Charity Classic, the Cincinnati Fall Ball Classic and the Mid-American Soccer Classic.
In MVYSA play, our team finished fifth in the fall season in Premier and first in the spring season in Division I. Also of note was a first-place finish in the indoor season at SportsPlex.
2010-11 Season (U10)
Congratulations to the boys, parents and coaches on a tremendous 2010-11 year of select soccer at the U10 age group. To re-cap, the team placed first of five teams in the fall MVYSA Division II season. After playing two sessions of indoor soccer at SportsPlex, the team moved up to Division I and captured another first-place finish out of five teams.
Along the way, the team competed in four tournaments (three in the fall and one in the spring). We earned awards in all four of them, finishing second four straight times while taking on some of the finest teams in the MVYSA.
