Springfield of Dreams Charity Cup Marketing Committee Meeting Report – 5/8/2006
i. 50 teams have attended per year ii. Raised over $13,000 for RHC (see budget) iii. Raised over $8,000 for club (see budget)
i. Structure 1. RHC will seek and get monies from field sponsors 2. Either group may obtain an event sponsorship with ok from the other. 3. Thunder will receive all other monies from all other income sources ii. 10 teams have applied (8 from Canada) iii. A marketing committee instead of a marketing person
i. $6,000 ads/sponsors ii. $1,000 Dream Soccer iii. $7,000 total iv. If we exceed our goal then the Thunder Board will decide use of this new money
i. Event Sponsor – Thunder or RHC (Name event, Entrance Sign, Front Cover, Web, Stuffer, T-Shirt, Listing on sponsor page, & Map Locator), 1 at $5000 ii. Dream Soccer Sponsor – Thunder (Picture Plaque, Name on T-shirts and Awards given to Dream Soccer participants, ½ page Ad on Dream Soccer Explain page, Web, Stuffer, T-Shirt, Listing on sponsor page, & Map Locator) 1 at $2500 or do layout of program and printing [possibly News & Sun] iii. Field Sponsor – RHC (Signage on Nets, 1/2 Page Ad, Site Map, Stuffer, Web & Map Locator), 8 at $1000 iv. Area sponsor (Banner on tent, ¼ Page Ad, Web, Stuffer, Listing on sponsor page, & Map Locator) , 7 at $500 1. Fun Area 2. First Aide/Sports Med 3. Ref/Admin 4. Concessions 5. Program/Trophy Tent 6. Ref Parking 7. Shelter House v. Division Sponsors (Name of Division, ½ Page Ad on Division page, Web, Stuffer, Listing on sponsor page, & Map Locator) 11 at $350 vi. Team Sponsor (¼ Page Ad on Team Page, Web, Stuffer, Listing on sponsor page, & Map Locator) 12 at $200 vii. Golf Cart or Relief Station Sponsor (Sign on cart or station, Business Card Ad, Web, & Listing on sponsor page) 10 Carts and 12 Relief Stations at $100
i. Program Ads - all get stuffer, ½ page or larger also gets Web & Map Locator) 1. Inside Cover, front or back (Stuffer, Web & Map Locator) 2 at $300 2. Back Cover (Stuffer, Web & Map Locator) 1 at $400 3. Full Page (Stuffer, Web & Map Locator) ASAP at $200 4. ½, Page (Stuffer, Web & Map Locator) ASAP at $125 5. ¼ Page (Stuffer & Web) ASAP at $72 6. Business Card (Stuffer) ASAP at $55 ii. Map Locator (id on center fold map) $50 iii. Bag Stuffer (small item or 8x11 paper) $25 iv. Food Card (Card given to each participant) if presented to participating restaurant then Tourney would get 10% of bill v. Happy ads (1/2 size of business card, for parents or relatives) $10 vi.
