Meeting Report – 7/6/2006

2. Absent – John Berry, Sharon Diviak, Jennifer Smith, Tony Cooper, Laura Watkins, Cyndi DeCarlo, Jill Woods, Tiffani Kaffenbarger, Jeanine Cline
3. Admin Report – Gene Pitstick
   1. Contract from National Trails is being reviewed
   2. We have been approved for roster sizes change to meet MVYSA rules
   3. We have 29 applications well ahead of 11 at this time last year.
   4. I have sent emails to all clubs in Ohio South and North indicating an offer to discount the tourney fee if a club sends 5 or more teams.
   5.  Plan to pass out info at the MVYSA general meeting 7/11
4. Site committee report - John Berry
   1. Ask Miste - How many RRs will National Trail have on site?
5. Fun/Special Events report - Jennifer Smith
   1. I spoke with the fire chief and we are scheduled for the fire trailer. 
   2. I received an email from the Columbus Crew and they are not able to help us out with anything that weekend. 
   3. I spoke with my friend about sponsorship.  They are laying people off from the business right now.   They are not in the position to be sponsoring anything at this time. She stated that if the business picks up they would be glad to give in the future. 
   4. I was going to speak to Misty about the trails mascot and trails program that they have.  The fire chief was telling me about it.
   5. Jennifer will see if she can get donation of hand sanitizer dispensers from her employer – what is status of this?
   6. Suggestion contact Cincinnati Kings for a guest appearance and also try to get Heater from Dayton Dragons
6. Housing/Registration - Laura Watkins (on Vacation) and Kathy Nash   
   1. I contacted Fairfield Inn again they are not interesting in advertising, but are sending me out the contract.  Jackie from the Fairfield Inn stated a team has already booked 17 rooms from Marietta. 
   2. I also got a hold of Country Inn and Suites they have blocked off 33 rooms that are doubles and a few suites for us.  Their rate is $77.00 plus tax for the doubles.  They are also interested in advertising so I will drop off the forms hopefully tomorrow. 
   3. I will add this hotel information to the web site.
7. Program/Cleanup – Cindy Beckdahl
   1. Nothing to report
8. Dream Soccer - Tony Cooper
   1. Dates for training sessions – August 1, 3, 8, 10
9. Personnel/ Referee Food – Lisa Webb
   1. Subway has not committed yet
   2. Has got Panera Bread to donate for ref food
   3. Her father will make stands for hand wash stations
   4. Suggested that marketing contact Best Buy RV’s, Rocky Lakes, and Lee Thompson at Northwood Hills CC Restaurant
10. Concessions – Cyndi DeCarlo (U10B), Jill Woods (U10G), Tiffani Kaffenbarger (U12B), Jeanine Cline (U13B)
    1. Cindy Beckdahl is still talking with Tim Smith about concessions contract
11. T-shirts/Awards – Sharon Diviak
    1. Sharon has got samples from Primary Spirit
