Logo Contest
Thunder Players,
We want your help. As we prepare for the second Springfield of
Dreams Charity Cup to be held this August 13-14 at Eagle City soccer
Complex, we need a new logo. The logo will be used on the front of
the Tourney T-Shirt, the Tourney Program, and other Tourney materials.
The club is sponsoring a contest for the new logo. We want
you to send in your idea. We will give prizes for the top 5 entries.
The first place entry will win a new soccer ball and a free tourney
t-shirt. The other four will each receive a tourney t-shirt.
Rules:
- Must be a currently rostered Springfield Thunder player
- One entry per player.
- Entries must be submitted by May 29, 2005 via mail to Gene
Pitstick, 4305 Phoenix Dr., Springfield, OH 45503 or via email to
genep@woh.rr.com in bmp, jpg, or
gif format
- Entries will be judged on:
- Appeal to 9-14 year old soccer players
- How colors and elements from the Springfield Thunder Club patch
and Rocking Horse Center logo are used
- Use of the Field of Dreams theme
- Whether it can be used on the front of a T-shirt (not to complex
to reproduce)
- How easily it can be viewed or read at a distance
- Presentation and neatness
- The tournament name (Springfield of Dreams Charity Cup) must be
included in design
- Use no more than 4 colors
- An entry must include the design, players name, team, phone, and
mailing address.
- The Judges decisions will be final.
