Springfield Thunder is a select soccer club that plays in the Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association and are members of the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association, US Youth Soccer, the United States Soccer Federation and the FIFA (the governing body for world soccer). Teams train with volunteer and professional coaches to develop skills to play competitive soccer at any level.

The Club wishes to thank all who gave of their time and talents to make the 2010 Springfield of Dreams Charity Cup and Dream Soccer a success. Thunder Coach Honored

The Miami Valley Youth Soccer Association presented Miguel Pedraza, Springfield Thunder U14 boys coach with their Boys Coach of the Year Award at the their General Meeting on July 8. We believe this is the first ever Thunder coach to receive this yearly award. He was nominated by his team. Miguel has served a club president and coached Thunder teams for about 15 years. Congratulations Miguel!
